Blokada does not block any ads in browser on OPPO Reno 3

Hello,

Blokada does not block any ads in browser on OPPO Reno 3 and it only works in some apps.

1. Where did you download Blokada from?
   From blokada,org

2. Which device do you use?
   Oppo Reno 3
   Do you use a custom ROM?
   No
   Do you know which OS version you are using?
   Android 10 ColorOS 7.1 CPH2043_11_A.30

3. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible. Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better.

Blokada doesn’t block ads (In the google chrome browser [87.0.4280.101] and in some apps (For ex. In Facebook while browsering sites)

In some apps blokada does its job just fine.

4. Since when are you facing this issue?

Since I bought this phone (3 weeks). During this time, phone had few updates but there wasn’t any impact on blokada’s work.

On LG G6 blokada didn’t have any problems.

5. Did you already try to solve the issue somehow? If so: please state what you did.

The issue is indepentent from blokada’s version. (Both: Blokada 5 and 4.8.6 [Which I’m currently using] have the same issue)

If you think more ads are coming through than before, try these steps: Clear the Cache of the apps you see ads in. Check if the VPN key icon is present in the status bar at the top. and I also enabled alternative DNS in app.

Unfortunately none of them worked.

V5 will not work on your device. Yes. Try the most recent V4, enable alternative dns and disable Private DNS within your phone’s settings
