The updates

As per our release schedule, today we are releasing the following updates:

  • Blokada 5.12 for Android (stable) →
    • blokada.org (available)
    • F-droid (stable)
    • Google Play (in review)
    • Huawei App Gallery (in review)
    • Samsung App Galaxy Store Gallery (in review)

Blokada 5.12 for Android

This is mostly maintenance update with various minor bugfixes.

One exception is a new feature that will automatically remove unused old networks from your Networks list, for which you have not provided any custom configuration.

A set of changes was also made to droid flavor, to address recent requests from the F-Droid team.

Finally, as usual we updated the blocklists, and translations. We also made some minor bugfixes. More in the changelog.

I put Blokada on my iPad and I play June’s Journey, Blokada worked like a dream and I didn’t have to watch hundreds of ads for 2 days. Then it quit blocking and it won’t block anymore ads. I uninstalled the program and tried reinstalling it but it just doesn’t work. I told my team about Blokada and many installed the program and it has been working for them for over a week.
What have I done wrong?
I am running 14.5.1
Would love some advice.

Thanks for this great update, i have udpated on my 2 android devices.
Awaiting for the ios app update.

There is a known problem with iOS 14.5+, a possible fix has been added but you will have to wait for the next version to be released (this release is Android only).

Uhm, the download page from the desktop gives me the 5.12 apk, whereas from the phone I get 5.11.1.
What gives?

hello , i used blockada ago (1 or 2y ago) and very happy
but since 1 year , blockada does not block anymore ads

im on redmi note 7 ( original mui)
i click on google news ,on article

i got the page and on bottom i have manny ads ( not blocked )
smartfeed , or ads for usa passport green card … ect…
and i cant block it , i press long on link for option open new windows ,save picture
but no option to add to block list …

sorry ago 1 or 2 year , this app work well
and now , no ads blocked ,
( i activated all list … for block all )
