The updates

As per our release schedule, today we are releasing the following updates:

Blokada 5.9 for Android

This update brings some changes to blocklists. First of all, we are testing out a new default blocklist, which now is OISD. Let us know if you notice any problems with the adblocking in this version.

Furthermore, based on your feedback on GitHub, we’ve added two new blocklists: The Block List Project, and Spam404. Tap the links to learn more.

Other updates

As for Google Play, we are still working for them to accept the Networks update. As to F-Droid, they already accepted our newest update, but are having problems with some updates with various apps not showing up, so we hope they can fix it soon. Stay tuned.

Isn’t Oisd Basic too low list as default one? It has not even 100k of entries. Full list has over 450k and blu energized (with it’s false reportas) around 200k.

OISD is still not blocking ads from pubads.g.doubleclick.net, I had reported this previously in 5.8 beta. I know this doesn’t make sense if you are using the non wildcard list, as the developer has shown this pubads.g.doubleclick.net on the list. I have tested back and forth with energize blu , adaway, goodbye ads, steven black, they all block this ad site by default.

This sounds like cache issue. If you tried to uninstall and install this blocklist, would it be possible for you to try clearing app data?

That worked thank you! I will continue to use and test oisd. Now to restore my + purchase… All good
