Blokada 5.3 for iOS → sent to Apple for review (takes a few days)
Blokada 4.8.5 for Android → stable channel
This release is my first attempt to address the battery issues some users are reporting with the v5 for Android. If you experience such problems, please report back how is it now, with the 5.3. We have also made some changes to DoH support, which will now allow to connect securily to more DoH supporting DNS servers, like Adguard. This also applies to Blokada 5.3 for iOS.
Finally, as usual we updated the blocklists, and translations. This also applies to Blokada 4.8.5 for Android. More in the changelog.
Keep the feedback coming, and enjoy using Blokada!
Of course, Blokada 5 is still very new. If you experience any problems, share log with me at hello@blokada.org and describe your problem.
Blokada 4 will be available for a long time to come, and will receive updates.
If you are new to our forum, here are some links, in case you want to know more about Blokada 5:
As per schedule, I have just now released Blokada for Android v5.3.0 to stable channel. You should be receiving updates soon.
Also, from now on Blokada 5 will have the DoH disabled by default. You can still enable it in settings. The reason is that we are not happy with the stability and battery use, and will investigate the matter further.
Et de nouveau, après le reset de mon portable, blokada 5.3 ne reconnaît pas mon appareil et n’active pas mon compte!
Dans l’espoir d’une solution rapide, ma haute considération et remerciements anticipés.
