Unwanted Notifications in Android

I’m running Blockada 5.16.0 in Android 9. The notifications always have one telling me that Blockada is running… even though I have its notifications blocked in Settings/ Apps. How can I get rid of the notification?

Further information:

Where did you download Blokada from?
Just now did an upgrade in the app.

Which device do you use? Do you use a custom ROM? Do you know which OS version you are using?
Unmodified Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, Android 9.

Since when are you facing this issue?
Since I installed the app the first time.

Go to settings / tap on this device.

Tap on open notification settings, turn activity off under other.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I get a very different result when I click open notification settings. The image is what I already had and am seeing the notifications.

Ok it must be the difference in Android, I am on 11.

I just tried replacing version 5 with 4, but the problem persists.
