How can I update filters manually on Blokada 5?

Does blocklists update automatically?

If I use a blocklist like Steven Black, will it update automatically periodically or I need to wait for the release of a new version of Blokada shipping with updated lists? I think I’m starting to experience issues from out of date lists that are breaking the functionality of some apps.

[Feature Request] Allow to manually refresh and update Blocklists on IOS

Sometimes the adlists stay old and ads get through. It would be nice to have a refresh button instead of reinstalling it.

Reason to mirror

Hello, I looked at blokada/PackDataSource.kt at 5 · blokadaorg/blokada · GitHub and saw that all files are taken from mirrored address. Why does blokada use a mirror instead of the original address?

Can you add the options that Blokada 4 had?

If you mean the option to manually update the filter, this doesn’t make sense as has been already explained in the last link I provided. The original lists are not used directly but from a mirror which is periodically updated to prevent issues if the original is down. Additionally you already requested this as an issue on GitHub which was closed for the same reason.

The only point which might be considerable which also has been mentioned in the last link is to use the original mirror first and if it doesn’t work use the mirror as a fallback.
