  1. Where did you download Blokada from?
    App store
  2. Which device do you use?
    Google pixel 6 pro
    Do you use a custom ROM?
    NO
    Do you know which OS version you are using?
    Latest stable Version of android os
  3. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible.
    Can’t connect to internet. (Private DNS mode) won’t connect.
    Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better.
  4. Since when are you facing this issue?
    Started at 10pm UTC time zone
  5. Did you already try to solve the issue somehow? If so: please state what you did.
    I had to turn off private DNS mode to access the internet

Same here, it suddenly stopped working both on wifi and mobile network. I use Samsung S22 Ultra with Android 13 and all the latest patches, and the latest Blokada version from the store. Other private DNS servers work fine.

I have the same issue. Wifi and mobile data. Privat DNS does not work.

    Android 13, last update from Samsung (Dec 1, 2023)

  • Please explain the issue as detailed as possible.
    Can’t connect to internet. (Private DNS mode) won’t connect.

  • Since when are you facing this issue?
    Since this night (After Dec 14 09:00 GMT or later)

  • Did you already try to solve the issue somehow? If so: please state what you did.
    I had to turn off private DNS mode to access the internet

What I did (did not help):

  • restarted the phone several times
  • rebooted the router serveral times
  • Deinstalled and reinstalled Blokada and setup Private DNS with the DNS value copies from Blokada.

Seems to be an issue on the Blokada DNS

Same here, cleared cache, uninstall, setting it all up again with ni success. Gets stuck on both WiFi and 5G

Same here, reverted back to blokada 5. Happened to me for the second time. I cancelled my paid account.

    Started at about 5pm CET time zone

    Rebooted device, obtained Private DNS Provider Hostname again (turned out it was the same I was already using)

This happens to much to many people. To bad I paid for a full year. Reverted back to blokada 5. I hate ads.

How often did it happen to you?

For a paid service a disruption should be fixed within hours. Let’s see by when this issue will be solved.

Or at least some sort of acknowledgment from the company about the situation.
