Good thing they are able to provide free VPN for their app. Do the developers compensate for the data they’re giving in the free Blokada app with those who pay for Blokada Plus or is it simply free to provide?

Yes! Blokada is an open source project. There are three modes o operation in Blokada: Libre, Cloud, and Plus. Libre mode is available on Blokada for Android, and it is free, local on-device fake VPN based adblocking. Blokada Cloud is our newest, cloud-based adblocking, which is much more reliable and faster. Hey Andrea,

You may use Blokada 5 for free on your Android device by downloading it through our website.

If you’re using an iOS device in the other hand, using Blokada for free isn’t possible but we do offer a free trial for you to test Blokada.
