Galaxy S22 on Tobilbe mobile data keeps losing private DNS access

  1. Where did you download Blokada from? I’ve had Blokada 6 for a long time. Downloaded the office APK.
  2. Which device do you use? Do you use a custom ROM? Do you know which OS version you are using? Galaxy S22 Ultra, Android version 15 patch level June 1, 2025, one UI version 7.0. No Custom ROM. On T-Mobile.
  3. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible. Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better. When I am on wifi, everything works fine. When I move to mobile data, I lose internet connection and all bars and get the message that it could not connect to the private DNS server. I am using the private DNS copied and pasted from Blokada 6.
  4. Since when are you facing this issue? 3-5 days
  5. Did you already try to solve the issue somehow? If so: please state what you did. I have tried restarting my phone, toggling airplane mode, and turning the private DNS setting to auto. These may work for a short time. The latter results in Blokada not working without the private DNS set to

Hi, welcome to the community. You mention that when you switch to mobile data you lose coverage completely. Could you check what coverage you have with Private DNS disabled? Have you noticed that this problem occurs in a specific place? For example, only in your home?

Not, it appears in multiple places. With private DNS disabled, I have good coverage at work and at home (at home I used Tmobile 5G home internet, so it’s the same connection), and generally everywhere.

Could you show me this issue in a short screen recording of your phone?
