Cannot connect to org.blokada.origin.alarm

  1. Where did you download Blokada from?
    Blokada.org

  2. Which device do you use? Do you use a custom ROM? Do you know which OS version you are using?
    Oneplus 8T, Oxygen OS, Android 11.

  3. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible. Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better.

It happens at random, can’t really reproduce the issue. First it tells me it cannot connect to org.blokada.origin.alarm. I open the VPN settings and all seems to be fine there, but Blokada doesn’t re-enable itself until I open the app again.

  1. Since when are you facing this issue?
    Since getting new phone and setting up Blokada, the only modification I made is I toggled the VPN to stay on at all times.

It seems it may be related to battery optimisation. Try disabling it for Blokada.

Adding it to the Don’t Optimize list in battery settings didn’t work, so I’ve also enabled Keep Alive in the app’s advanced settings. So far so good
