App Store app icons are blocked and update is slow

  1. Where did you download Blokada from?

  1. Which device do you use? Do you use a custom ROM? Do you know which OS version you are using?

iPad air 2019 ios 13.5

  1. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible. Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better.

App icons are missing when blokada vpn is on. also tapping Update for that app takes very long. it works okay with blokada off and downloads are instant.

since installing blokada for the first time, this was about a couple of weeks ago

  1. Did you already try to solve the issue somehow? If so: please state what you did.

turn off blokada/use other similar solution like lockdown privacy

Interesting, have you tried a different dns option within Blokada? You can find it in settings > encryption & dns.

yes, same with a different dns provider
