Starting with Blokada v5.9, and v4.11, a new blocklist is available in Blokada: The Block List Project.

What is it?

A general purpose blocklist, that contains several different variants for different use cases. It gets regular updates. We have chosen some of the configurations (that we believe will be the most useful), to include in the app.

How to use it?

In order to activate it on Android (Blokada 5):

  • Open “Advanced” tab
  • Tap “Blocklists”
  • Find “The Block List Project” at the bottom, and activate it

In order to activate it on Android (Blokada 4):

  • Open the bottom menu
  • Navigate to Adblocking → Host Lists
  • Find “The Block List Project”, and activate it

In order to activate it on iOS:

  • Open “Advanced” tab
  • Find “The Block List Project” at the bottom, and activate it

The tracking package blocks WebMD

on YouTube does not block ANYTHING! hasn’t blocked an advertisement either!
