If you want to share your internet while Blokada is running, you might face connectivity issues. It is because manufacturers may disallow you to tether on your device while you are using the VPN API.
It has historical reasons. The VPN (Virtual Private Network) was originally used to allow remote employees to access the corporate’s network, allowing them to exchange e-mails, browse intranet sites and access shared folders. Nowadays VPN service is widely used, but the device cannot distinguish if you use the VPN to access confident information through a company’s network or you are using a publicly available VPN service and to ensure data is kept secret, the device may refuse to tether while you are using the VPN API (what Blokada uses to filter ads and trackers).
