Blokada v6 Notification missing after S21 security update

  1. Where did you download Blokada from?
    Google Play Store

  2. Which device do you use? Do you use a custom ROM? Do you know which OS version you are using?
    Samsung S21 Ultra, OS Android 14, One UI 6.1

  3. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible. Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better.
    The activity notification has stopped displaying in the notification list. This happens on Blokada VPN and off

  4. Since when are you facing this issue?
    Noticed the notification was missing after a device security update 6 Mar 2025

  5. Did you already try to solve the issue somehow? If so: please state what you did.
    Restarted phone

I checked the notification settings, disabled and re-enabled them

Set Blokada VPN to always on

I purged app data and cache

Un-installed and reinstalled the app

Checked the app settings for notification settings (I couldn’t find any)

Checked the community for a recent post

Hi,
after the notification disappeared, did you notice that you started to see ads?

Ads still appear to be blocked
