S21u notifications and quick access button no longer work

  1. Where did you download Blokada from? Play store

  2. Which device do you use? Samsung Galaxy s21u 6.1 UI

  3. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible.

Since the phone updated to ui 6.1 notifications no longer work with Blokada. Notifications are enabled but they do not show up. Also the quick settings button no longer works either.

  1. Since when are you facing this issue?
    Since 6.1 update

  2. Did you already try to solve the issue somehow?
    Uninstalled and reinstalled. Force stopped, cleared cache. Force stopped, cleared data.

Hey @Mindes ,

Thanks for posting, this seems unusual, can you please double-check that the notifications for Blokada are allowed?

You can do so by going to Blokada → Click and hold → click on the :information_source: → Click on Notifications

Yes, notifications are allowed.

I’ve also wiped system partition with no change, notifications still do not work.

same. s24 ultra, i still get notifs but the quick setting button doesnt work

If so, can you please share your log with hello@blokada.org? We will take a closer look at this issue.

Running version 24.3.3.

Where do I find the log? I only see where to enable activity logging but not anywhere to see the log to send it.

Hi,

You can find the log by clicking on the top right → Tap “Share log” → Send the log to hello@blokada.org

I just solved this notification issue.

Settings>notifications>advanced settings>manage notification categories for each app, toggle that on.

Go to Blokada app info>notification>notification categories> toggle activity on.

This must’ve been some change with UI 6.1 that turned it off.

Hi Guys,
My S21 Ultra notifications and quick access button stopped working suddenly. I’ve tried restarting the phone and clearing the cache, but nothing seems to help. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If you found a solution, please share! It’s frustrating not having easy access to my notifications and settings.

Have you tried to re-add the quick settings button? Also what app version are you running?
