I had purchased blokada to be shield for my data when I launch mobile apps and games and should not have to whitelist things to get them to work. I am not running any blocklists under the advanced settings and every gaming app that requires a connection is timing out. Only with the vpn turned off do most of the apps load.
I am lkely going back to version 4 as the vpn would not break these apps.
Where did you download Blokada from?

Which device do you use? Do you use a custom ROM? Do you know which OS version you are using?

so Blokada offers three functions: changing DNS, blocking ads and a VPN service.
Do I understand correctly that you are only interested in the VPN service, not in ad blocking or the possibility to change DNS?
With the Bloka app active and the VPN disabled, the youtube music will not play and times out. The google reader app also does not connect to the google library. The recent blocked items are www.googleadservice com, ad.doubleclick net, setttings.crashanalitycs com, reports.crashanalitics com, s.amazon-adsystem com etc. The recent allowed items www.googleapis com, android.googleapis com, mtalk.google com, youtubei.googleapis com, firebaseinstallations.googleapis com, s.youtube com
@c_C I am already a subscriber to the vpn plus service. I was using v4 and I updated to v5.2 and am having problems with gettting apps to load properly.
I understood that you think that Blokada Plus is blocking the connection and that you want to only use the VPN service without the ad blocking functions, which seems to have been a misunderstanding from my side.
Which host lists did you select?
Which DNS do you use?
Did you enable âblock all connections without VPNâ?

Some times I turn just the ads off for this exact thing, I find if I let⌠a certain hub cote load the first page and log.on, after that the ad blocking doesnât effect.the navigation.
