Blokada 4 updating to 5 without consent

Huawei P30 Pro stock rom 10.1.0.165

  1. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible. Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better.

Am having issues with v5 not blocking ads on some apps (tried enabling always on vpn and turning off private DNS, nada) so went back to v4 (latest, also from this website), as it worked and continue to work perfectly throughout the day.

However when I woke up in the morning, 4 was updated to 5 without my inputs.

How can I prevent this as I prefer 4 over 5 for now.

Try checking your Huawei store settings, maybe there is a way. Huawei makes the update.

Huawei has an option to update apps not installed in it store, check your App Gallery settings to validate you haven’t enabled “Auto-update over Wi-Fi”
