I’ve used Block-This! for ages, and it sounds much the same as Blokada. Comments?

I’m unfamiliar with the app you’re talking about but its latest github release was back in 2017.
It seems to redirect unwanted traffic to 127.0.0.1 while I can’t seem to find out whether or not you can properly choose what’s unwanted. Blokada replies with a simple error message instead of waiting for the request to time out on 127.0.0.1 which makes it a bit faster. You might not notice the difference though.
That’s all I’ve found while looking at the github page
