I have been using Blokada for about 6 months now, and I have never had a problem with ads or anything. However, recently I’ve been getting ads not sure what the problem would be. I wanted to also know the difference between the green and red shields meaning in the activity tab.
Green = Domain that is not blocked
Red = Domain that is blocked
With the right hosts file(s) activated you should not be getting the vast majority of ads, though it should always be remembered that ads on certain social media sites and their apps (facebook, instagram, tiktok etc…) cannot be completely blocked, because they are either retrieved directly from IPs, or served from the same domains which offer up the actual content (and in some cases from temporary randomized URLs).
