Unable to access internet with blokada 5 enabled

Downloaded Blokada 5 for android from website.

Using s23 ultra oneui8.

Since 3 days, unable to acess internet with Blokada 5 enabled. Unable to open websites, apps not working and while testing internet speed on speedtest app, it says “no internet connection”. Issue is with both wifi and mobile data.

Reinstalled Blokada 5.23.2.1, restarted phone.

In the logs, there is nothing being blocked. Everything is green.

Hi. Do you use Blokada Plus? Have you performed any system updates recently? Are you using any VPN app? Does the problem occur on Wi-Fi, mobile data, or both?

Hi. No I’m using blokada 5. I did receive a system update but it was 2-3 weeks ago. The problem started 4 days ago. The issue is with both wifi and phone data.

Tried shifting to different service provider and it started working. Seems to be an issue with “RAIN” service provider in South Africa. Not sure what is happening. Help will be much appreciated.

If you have access to another device, you can check if the problem occurs on that device as well. This way, you will be sure that the cause is not your main device.

I also encourage you to test the latest version of Blokada 6 (https://go.blokada.org/play/v6). We’ve made many changes and improvements over the somewhat outdated Blokada 5. And we’re offering a free trial right within the app.
