Hello,
a few questions:
-
the relevant icon in the android settings page is grey
Could you send a screenshot showing this? I’m not sure what it is.
-
Also, after activating, the data for “adds blocked in the last 24 hours” are no longer shown.
In the app settings, “Activity” section, do you have the “Yes, store my activity” option always active?
-
in the app settings, the “suspend app when inactive” option is NOT SELECTED
Do you mean the main phone settings (Applications section) and not the settings in our app?
- Do you use our app on multiple devices or just one?
MIUI was once known for its aggressive background app killing. I don’t currently have access to a phone with this system, so the information below may not be entirely accurate.
Battery saver:
Settings → Battery → Battery saver → Apps
(or Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Blokada 6 → Battery saver in some builds)
Choose: No restrictions
Avoid: Battery saver, Restrict background activity, MIUI optimized restrictions
MIUI 14 is still strict even in “optimized” modes.
Autostart:
Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Blokada 6 → Autostart
Turn ON
If autostart is off, MIUI may block background processes after screen-off.
Background Permissions:
Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Blokada 6 → Permissions
Check these:
Background activity - Allowed
Run in background - Allowed
If either is blocked, MIUI 14 will terminate the app after a few minutes of inactivity.
Memory Cleaner:
MIUI 14 still kills unlocked apps when you clear recent tasks. To prevent that:
Open Recent apps → Hold the app window or swipe down → Tap the lock icon
You must see a padlock icon. Locked apps persist even when MIUI cleans RAM.
Battery profiles:
Some MIUI builds include options like (Settings → Battery → Settings):
-Clear cache when device is locked
-Restrict apps when device is locked
-Sleep mode
-Schedule battery saver
Set “Battery saver when device is locked” to Never and disable all automatic cleanup or scheduled saving modes.
