Blokada 6 Blocking local address

  1. Where did you download Blokada from? - Google Playstore
  2. Which device do you use? Do you use a custom ROM? Do you know which OS version you are using? - Samsung Fold3 F926B. Android V13. Stock Rom.
  3. Please explain the issue as detailed as possible. Also include patterns you observed (like ‘it only happens on wifi’). The more information the better.
    Since the most recent update Blokada 6 is preventing connections to local devices, impacting both my NAS and my Chromecast. Connections to local devices timeout. Disabling the VPN immediately resolves this issue. Issue was not present for many months when I switched to Blokada 6. Changing Block Lists does not resolve this issue.
  4. Since when are you facing this issue?
    Since most recent update via Playstore. Using version 22.4.19, no further updates available in Playstore.
  5. Did you already try to solve the issue somehow? If so: please state what you did.
    Disabling the VPN allows local connections as normal. Not really a solution.

Hi there,

I would recommend going to Settings → Apps → System Apps → Bypassing all system apps.

This should resolve the issue but let me know if it doesn’t

Having the same problem. Where is “Settings → Apps → System Apps → Bypassing all system apps”? Is that in Blokada6?

Hi there,
You cannot bypass apps with blokada cloud/v6. You can however reach local IPs without a hassle. Try that instead.
This all only applies if you’ve turned off the VPN and just use the dns
