Cannot start Blokada on Chromecast with Google TV

I can install Blokada 5 on a new “Chromecast with Google TV” dongle, and I can link it to my Blokada account. Looks good! BUT I cannot start Blokada because the remote will not take the cursor to the big round button in the centre of the screen. (It accesses all the functions at the bottom of the screen OK). Any thoughts?

Blokada 5 does not support android TV systems (at this time), version 4 however does support remote controls.
