Blokada could be easily ported to Linux

I am currently learning how to code for Linux, and a port of Blokada to GNU could be made easy. I have some ideas we could do:

  • Use the Java Runtime Environment (Android apps are mostly powered by java, so a port of the code could work).
  • Use Flatpak for distribution (its package manager works similarly to Android´s package management system).
  • Port the Java code to Gjs (Java code is portable to Javascript, and we can convert that to Gnome Javascript).

And that is all I can think of for right now.

why port it to Linux?

There are no trackers and ads in Linux Desktop. For browsers there is https://ublockorigin.com/
