Hi everyone, I hope you are well. We have just published an open beta track for our Google Play version of the app (Blokada Slim). It means, soon you will be able to install Blokada 5 Slim from Google Play, by selecting the beta track. We are excited to provide you this new version, and we hope you will like it even more than Blokada 4. If you are new here, and haven’t heard about Blokada 5, it’s our new, fully reworked version we have been beta testing for a few weeks now. It is now stable enough to start making it available for everyone. This page may be useful for you, if you are Blokada Slim user: > [@What's the difference between Blokada and Blokada Slim?](https://community.blokada.org/t/whats-the-difference-between-blokada-and-blokada-slim/38): > > What is Blokada Slim for Android? Blokada is the original, full version of the app. You install it by downloading an apk file from our [official sources](https://community.blokada.org/t/where-can-i-download-blokada/372). Blokada Slim is a lightweight version of the app, available on [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.blokada.alarm.dnschanger&hl=en). It offers some of the functionality of the full app (like encryption, DNS adblocking, and Blokada Plus), and also receives updates at the same time the main Blokada does. Blokada Slim does not contain features that Google Play policy does not allow us to include, name… Everything about Blokada 5 development and roadmap ([changelog here](https://community.blokada.org/t/blokada-changelog/149)): > [@Blokada 5 for Android: Beta (finished)](https://community.blokada.org/t/blokada-5-for-android-beta/1941): > > Update: Blokada 5 is now out of beta and it’s available on our homepage. Check the roadmap below to see what are next steps. Send logs to [hello@blokada.org](mailto:hello@blokada.org) if you experience any problems with Blokada 5. Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. So after quite a positive feedback on the release of Blokada for iOS, I’ve been working intensively for the last months on porting it to Android.
